Jim Reiman - Reiman ADRMediator and arbitrator of complex domestic and international commercial disputes who has run a public company as CEO, served as chairman of the board of directors of a public company listed on the London Stock Exchange’s AIM Market operating exclusively in China and Hong Kong, and teaches and coaches negotiation for senior executives and attorneys at University of Oxford, Saïd Business School and other elite institutions around the world. Qualified tutor and exam grader for the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators’ qualification/certification programs. As an attorney in private practice, 18 years experience including lead or billing attorney negotiating and documenting complex business transactions, complex financings, real estate development and construction projects, trade secret and intellectual property disputes (including claims of unfair competition), private equity financings, strategic partnerships, corporate restructurings, and mergers/acquisitions, as well as exit strategies, generational transfers, and partnership dissolutions. Aerofficient LLC

Aerofficient creates and sells aerodynamic enhancing devices that reduce the fuel consumption of heavy duty tractor trailer trucks.

  • Conceived and patented new product concepts and formed a business venture to manufacture, market and sell the products to the US trucking industry. Assembled and managed engineering and business teams, and managed supplier and vendor relationships.
  • Co-inventor of multiple US issued utility patents and multiple EU and other country patents

EBT Mobile China

January 2002 – July 2011 – Shanghai, China
EBT Mobile China is one of the China’s largest retailers of cell phones. As of January, 2013, EBT has 400+ stores. EBT is the No. 1 Authorized Reseller of China Mobile Shanghai and one of the largest Apple Premium Resellers (APR) in East China.

  • Retained by US and European investors to turn a money-losing China-based wireless retailer into a viable business
  • Led one of the first US – Chinese SOE / Western joint venture dissolutions, successfully unwinding the JV partnership while preserving government relations thereby permitting a successful re-launch of the business
  •  Executed a private placement within 1 year of acquiring the company, and within 2 years successfully listed the business on the London Stock Exchange’s AIM market
  • As Chairman of the publicly traded company, oversaw 2 successful supplemental stock offerings
  •  As Chairman, implemented a pragmatic growth strategy that grew the business from 35 to 225+ stores over 5 years, with potential for substantial future growth
  • As Chairman, led the execution of a successful partial buy-back / privatization transaction following the collapse of the AIM market in Q4, 2008
  • Transitioned from active leadership as CEO to Chairman in 2005, installing a local national as successor CEO thereby creating a foundation as a “true” Chinese company
  •  Facilitated a large investment by a Chinese based fund in 2009, enlarged the Board, and installed a Chinese based chairman to help guide the company through its next period of growth
